Help your feet bounce back after Coachella with these fabulous DIY recipes!

For all my fellow festival-goers, I am sure your body is feeling like a dried-out raisin right about now.. After 3 long, hot days in the desert, my body definitely took a beating by all of the elements (can you say windChella?). And for all of you who skipped out on the overpriced beers and endless Porta Potty lines, show your feet some love anyways tonight with these amazing all organic recipes…

Oatmeal Honey Foot Bath

You will need:

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  •  1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons aloe vera
  • 1/8 cup rock salt
  • 1 teaspoon lavender oil
  • water to fill foot bath
  • container for water

Preparation

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in the foot bath with hot water.
  • Soak for 15-20 minutes.
  • Your feet will feel moisturized and relaxed!

After your feet are nice and healed, try this delicious DIY foot scrub:

Brown Sugar Foot Scrub

You will need:

  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 2 tbs ground oats
  • 2 tbs aloe vera gel
  • 1 tbs honey
  • 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tsp almond oil or olive oil

Preparation

  • Grind the oatmeal using a coffee grinder or food processor. It has to be a light, sandy consistency or else it will scratch the skin
  • Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl until it resembles a paste
  • Massage onto feet
  • Rinse off with warm water.
